OUR MISSION

Transforming teenagers by making healthy disciples of Jesus Christ

The Student Ministry is an exciting place where every teenager can go deeper in their faith by connecting with friends, adults and Jesus. Our goal is to make sure each student feels encouraged, supported, accepted and loved right where they are.

Our belief is that students need more than fluff in this life. Students need:
+ Christ-centered teaching +
+ Adult leaders who love them +
+ Fun experiences that build community +

We are dedicated to reaching students right where they are and walking with them through this life together. Our desire for every teenager in the Student Ministry at Mountain Life Church is to be spiritually equipped, live a healthy lifestyle, desire love and grace in their life, serve the community in which they live, and be ready to serve in the church body where they attend!

THE MAIN QUESTIONS WE ASK:

What do they need to KNOW and at what depth?
Bible | Core Values | Theology | Christian World-View

What do they need to EXPERIENCE in terms of catalytic events?
Camps | Retreats | Service Projects

What do they need to be DOING in terms of everyday behaviors?
Kindness | Truth Telling | Forgiving | Scripture Reading | Prayer | Bible Memorization | Sharing Their Faith | Tithing | Service

Who do they need to be in RELATIONSHIP with along their journey?
Parents | Life Group Leader | Ministry Leaders | Mentor | Friends

WHAT WE OFFER

Life Groups

Our Life Groups are where Junior High and High Schoolers learn about grace, truth and love in an environment where they can be open and honest about their life situations. These groups are held each night after worship and a message. They are facilitated by amazing leaders who have a heart to walk through life with students and help them grow in their spiritual journey.

Trips

We arrange major trips throughout the year for the both High School and Junior High students. These trips are what we consider our catalytic events and they are designed to accelerate spiritual growth and go deeper in relationship building.
