Scripturally, to “advance” means moving beyond the walls of the church to live with courage and purpose, growing toward spiritual maturity. This is a lifelong pursuit rather than a single event, requiring a courageous posture of risk and action as we deepen our relationship with Christ and live out His calling.
The Advancing in Faith initiative is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to shape Park City for Mountain Life members and guests, and for our community for generations to come. Lives will change. Ministries will thrive. Our community will feel it. God has been preparing our church for this moment. Growth, momentum, and opportunity have aligned, and now is the time to move forward in response to what God is doing.
Ultimately, this is a God-sized goal that demands total dependency on the Spirit of God, trusting Him to do far more than we can ask or imagine as we seek to see His Kingdom manifest in our community.

Our next generation is leading the way. Children’s attendance has increased 26% recently and more than doubled in size over the last five years. In response to this momentum, we believe the time is now to broaden and deepen our impact through a reimagined vision.

Our Response
We believe God is calling us to create space reflecting His heart for people.
We also believe that facilities facilitate ministry. This new building is not the end goal, but a strategic means to an end. The centerpiece of our response to what God is doing in Park City is the construction of a new campus, located on land adjacent to our current site.

Three Objectives This Campus Will Realize
The construction of this new campus will enable us to realize three main objectives.
01 — Deeper Worship Experience
Spiritual Growth
Spiritual growth starts with a deeper worship experience and an environment where people can come to meet God. We are committed to supporting further spiritual growth through vital care ministries, Discipleship Pathway classes, and leadership development.
A Strategic Base for Life Transformation
- Expanded Capacity: A 1,200-seat Worship Center will more than double the current capacity on Sunday mornings, welcoming new visitors and families.
- A Base for Restoration: Our expanded facility will provide dedicated rooms for vital ministries that lift the people of our city. We are already seeing marriages restored, loneliness replaced by belonging, and lives transformed from the inside out.
- Discipleship Pathway: This clear and intentional framework was designed to guide individual toward spiritual maturity by helping them discover the gospel, engage in life-giving community, and advance as fearless followers of Jesus.
- Empowering Leaders: The new campus serves as a strategic base to identify, develop, and empower new leaders, ensuring that the mission of Mountain Life continues for generations.

02 — Investing in Tomorrow
Next Gen
God is clearly on the move in Park City, and our families are responding! In the last five years, our children’s attendance has more than doubled, and we recently saw a 26% increase in one year alone. However, our current facilities are now struggling to accommodate the 1,200 adults and youth God brings through our doors each week.
State-of-the-Art Spaces for Discovery and Joy
- Discipleship: Helping young people discover Jesus during their most formative years.
- Safety and Adventure: A new space for youth designed to grow with our congregation and allow kids to meet Jesus in a safe, fun and high-energy environment.
Shaping Fearless Followers for the Future
Our mission is to help kids move beyond just attending to becoming fearless followers of Jesus. By providing these dedicated tools, we are creating a strategic base where students can find belonging and grow spiritually during their entire childhood.
03 — A Vital Hub for Park City
Community
Our vision is bold: for Mountain Life to be so integral to the community that any history written about Park City must include the impact of our church. We are creating a campus that is a means to an end – a strategic, multi-use facility designed as a vital hub where residents will find connection, support, and a place to belong.
A Resource for Flourishing and Transformation
- Vibrant Public Spaces: We are building a full-size gymnasium, a coffee shop, and a large indoor playground.
- Seven-Day Availability: These modern areas will remain open daily, offering local families a safe, dependable environment to gather, connect and build relationships.
- Serving Community Groups: We will provide a meeting place for various groups, such as MomCo and Service Area 3, so our church can truly serve the city by supporting those who serve others.
