CRISIS RESPONSE
When crisis strikes, ReachGlobal Crisis Response is committed to spiritual, emotional, and physical transformation. We work to rebuild lives and communities by sharing the love of Christ—through the ministry of a local church, to multiply disciples and disciple makers.
In our role, we partner with Lake Charles Bible Church to make disciples in the mission field created by Hurricanes Laura and Delta that occurred in the fall of 2020. Mark serves as the On-Site Coordinator as well as the Construction Coordinator. His role involves leading our Crisis Response team in Lake Charles, restoring the local body of believers and maintaining a healthy partnership with the local church. This is our first priority so that the local church body can help us build relationships with those impacted by the storms from a place of health.
Mark also builds relationships with the community members, supervises the construction on the impacted homes, and equips the volunteer teams who come on how to live out our ministry value of putting people over projects. It’s not just about completing a project, but ministering to the family and neighborhood by going on prayer walks and practicing healing conversations. The crisis is an open door into relationships for the purpose of making disciples.
Your generosity helps us respond with real help and gospel hope alongside hurting people. We are grateful for faithful partners who invest in our ministry and remember us in prayer.
Thank you for being a part of our team!
