Meeting people’s physical and spiritual needs in and around Park City and Salt Lake offers many opportunities to share the message of hope found in Jesus Christ. In addition, we recognize and promote Utah as a mission field. Therefore, we have teamed up with several local organizations to make the biggest impact on our community. Also, thanks to some of our members who have a heart to bring a message of hope to those incarcerated, we have recently started a Jail Ministry that is impacting those in the Summit County Jail.

In early August, the Local Outreach Team organized a small group of 7th grade boys from Mountain Life and the PC Community Church to help the Christian Center with their Refugee program. This is a new program that is being launched to help all the families that have been relocated to the Summit and Wasatch counties from as far away as Myanmar. With the help from the local churches and the community, the Christian Center is able to give backpacks with all the necessary school supplies to these school children.

Mountain Life donated twenty of these backpacks fully loaded and assembled by: Elijah Alford, Matt Whipple, James Bullock, and Nick Avery.
Thanks to everyone that is supporting local outreach and a special thanks to all the boys that helped make this happen on behalf of Local Outreach Team at Mountain Life Church.
