Nepal Mission Trip

Mountain Life will be sending a team to Nepal October 8 – 22, 2011. This trip will be 14 days with an optional 4-5 day trek.

Trip Details & Itinerary

• Pokhara – Sightseeing and outreach training with Pastor Karl Silva
• Chitwan – Medical and construction outreach
• Kathmandu – Bible conference, street evangelism, visit the building site of the Mission Training Center
• Trishuli – visit some of the mountain villages
• Kathmandu – more sightseeing
• Optional 4-5 day trek to various mountain villages

Trip Requirements

• Application, waiver and deposit of $250.00 must be submitted by July 17, 2011
• Participate in all fund-raising activities
• Commit to making 5 out of 6 team-building meetings
• Commit to composing and sending financial and/or prayer support letters
• Possess a passport that is valid at least six months after date of travel
• Obtain all needed vaccinations
• Have a desire to be a team and submit to Mission Team Leaders
• Be flexible and tentative with the mission trip details and happenings

Trip Costs

• Airfare – from $1,800 – $2,000
• Vaccinations, if needed – 0 – $250
• Travel Insurance and visas – $100
• Other transportation – $250
• Housing and food – $600

Total cost of the trip will be approximately $2,750 – $3,200.
