New to Mountain Life

Welcome to Mountain Life Church, where the doors are open to you, regardless of where you are on your faith journey.  Attending a new church is not meant to be intimidating or awkward, and it’s our hope that you will feel at home, no matter if it is your first time stepping into a church, you are on vacation, or you just moved to Park City and are looking for a church home.

For specific information about what we believe, our staff and our leadership, please visit the About Us section of our website.  Consider joining us for our next Newcomers’ Dinner, which is offered on a regular basis to allow newer attenders to connect and get to know our staff.

Below are some commonly asked questions that come up when visiting our church.  If you have a question that is not addressed here, feel free to contact us or visit the Information Booth on Sunday mornings.   Thanks for checking us out, we look forward to meeting you!

When are your Sunday Service times?
We have two Sunday worship services times: 9:00 and 10:45 am.

Children and students stay in the service with the adults during the worship time, and then break and attend their age specific classes.
The nursery and children’s program for ages 3 years through 5th grade are available at both services.
Students in grades 6 – 12 meet during the 10:45 am service only.

Where are you located?
We are located at 7375 N. Silver Creek Road, in Park City, UT.  For a map and directions, click here.

Who Attends Mountain Life?
At Mountain Life Church you’ll notice a casual atmosphere and people of all ages and backgrounds, including young families with children, single adults, and older couples and singles. Both Sunday morning services together average an attendance of over 500.  We are all at different stages in our faith walk, and we hope you will want to journey with us into growing in our love and knowledge of Christ.

What should I wear?
Come as you are.  We are casual, not formal.  We want you to connect with God and others, not to be uncomfortable about how to dress.

When you arrive:
Friendly people will greet you and answer any question you might have.  We offer free refreshments for you in the main lobby.  There is also an Information Center in the foyer, where you can go for more detailed information.  A bulletin will inform you of the flow of worship and the latest church happenings.  We encourage you to bring your own Bible or use one of ours which are available for you to keep.

Worship:
This time is set aside for communicating with God from our hearts.  Our worship team will lead us in upbeat, contemporary songs of celebration, as well as more intimate songs of worship.  Everyone worships in his or her own unique way – for many, that may include singing and clapping along, while for others it means quietly reflecting on the words.  You’re welcome to do whatever makes you feel most comfortable.

Message:
Each Sunday, our pastors give a relevant, straightforward message that is based on Scripture and is designed to be helpful in everyday life.  You can take notes on the message using our note sheet or just sit back and listen.  Past messages are available online or may be purchased in the church lobby.  These messages will help you develop a growing, vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ and apply biblical teaching to your own life.

Communion:
The Lord’s Supper at Mountain Life is open to all who have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior, and who are trusting Him alone for their salvation.  We celebrate communion on the first Sunday of each month.
