Sunday Evenings

Prime Timers, ongoing, 6 pm, MLC Room 104
facilitated by Tim Deer |435-655-1555

This group is for retirees and empty nesters; however, newcomers of any age are welcome and, indeed, are encouraged to come. We are currently studying Genesis from the Hebrew/Jewish perspective.

Parenting NOW for the Teen Years, begins January 22, 5:30 – 7:30 pm, MLC
facilitated by Kara Jensen and Melissa Litwiller |435-250-3510

This class is open to all parents with children of any age… from birth to teens. We will be exploring ways to parent your children from a Biblically-based perspective in preparation for OR during, what some might call, the SCARY teenage years. We want to remove the fear by helping you understand what you can expect or clarify what is actually happening. We will focus on diving into your personal concerns and giving you tangible ways to parent the children God, very purposefully, gave you. Remember, God doesn’t make mistakes and He has ultimately equipped you for the job, so lets journey together to find your innate skills and maybe even learn some new ones. This is a seven week class, and childcare is provided upon request. We would love to have both spouses attend the class if possible.

Tuesday Mornings

MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers)  begins January 17, 9:00-11:15 am
meets 1st & 3rd Tuesday of each month in the foyer

Are you pregnant or do you have a child preschool age or below? Would you like to join 100,000 moms from around the world who are focused on the goal: “Better Moms Make a Better World’?   Mountain Life MOPS is a place where moms come together to celebrate the joys of motherhood and encourage each other through the challenges of raising preschoolers.  You can come, just as you are, to be refreshed and inspired. The MOPS meetings will give you a chance to grow as a mother and connect with other moms through special speaker presentations, discussion groups, creative projects, brunch, and fellowship. Moppet daycare kids program included.  Contact Liz McCaffrey | 435-901-1723 or Jenny Jones | 435-901-4263.

Sorry no children, as there is no childcare.

We will meet every 1st and 3rd Wednesday with a few activities sprinkled in for fun and further fellowship. Calendars are available at the Welcome Center for those interested.
