This six-week class will help you discover how your God-given spiritual gifts, personality, values and life experiences lead you to your personal mission. Our goal is to help God’s people learn how to live and serve with fulfillment and purpose.
During this class, you will learn what spiritual gifts are, assess what yours might be, and learn how you can use them in a meaningful place of service which builds up the body of Christ and brings personal fulfillment.
This is a hands-on class designed for anyone desiring to flesh out our Entering Service value at Mountain Life Church. Workbook will be provided. Class will not meet on Easter Sunday.
Children can participate in the 1st service Children’s Ministry program; then families are encouraged to stay and worship during the 2nd service.
Introduction to the LDS-Transition Ministry, begins March 5, 6:30 – 8:00 pm
facilitated by Dan DeTemple and Rick McDonnell
This is a six-week workshop available to Christians who have a desire to learn how to better minister to their LDS friends and neighbors who have left their church and are searching for answers. There are a growing number these folks and some are making their way to Mountain Life.
This workshop will provide a better understanding of the struggle which our LDS neighbors undergo when they decide to move on. It is much like an immigrant moving from one country to another. Their transition produces emotional stress, identity struggles, relationship difficulties, as well as doctrinal reorientation issues.
The intent of this DVD-based workshop is to introduce the Transitions material to Christian laypersons in hope that it would create a compassionate response and increased desire to minister to their LDS friends, neighbors and family. The sessions promise a meaningful group discussion after watching each DVD and studying the workbook materials. Childcare provided up to age five.
